[Review] Origin by Dan Brown

Title: Origin
Author: Dan Brown
Publisher: Doubleday Books
Published: October 3rd, 2017
Page: 461 pages
ISBN: 9780385514231

Hello Robert Langdon, we meet again, nice to see your Mickey Mouse watch again J

Memenuhi undangan salah satu murid terbaik, sekaligus sahabatnya - Edmond Kirsch - Robert Langdong hadir di Museum Guggenheim, Bilbao Spanyol, bersama beberapa undangan lainnya.

where do we come from?
where are we going?

[Review] Under the Egg by Laura Marx Fitzgerald

Title: Under the Egg
Author: Laura Marx Fitzgerald
Publisher: Puffin Books
Published: May, 26th, 2015
Pages: 256p
ISBN:  9780142427651

“Only two people know about the masterpiece hidden in the Tenpenny home - and one of them is dead. The other is Theodora Tenpenny.

When Theo spills a bottle of rubbing alcohol on her late grandfather's painting, she discovers what looks like a priceless masterpiece underneath. That's great news for Theo, who's struggling to hang on to her family's two-hundred-year-old townhouse and support her unstable mother on her grandfather's legacy of $463. There's just one problem: Theo's grandfather was a security guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and if the painting is as valuable as she thinks it is, then her grandfather wasn't who she thought he was”

It wasn’t ordinary for me to step into a bookstore and bought a  book I barely heard before. First, I used to look on Goodreads or read my friend’s review to make a decision for buying a book. Because in my opinion, it is not wise to spend this very short time of life to read something not good enough, of course the standard will be diverse for different person. So, based on that principal, this book was quite surprised me because I love it from the very first time I saw it although I never heard of it. The cover mentioned about puzzling, mystery, art and hidden masterpiece gave a glimpse of hope for a good story inside it and I can tell that it’s not disappointing.

[Review] Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein

Title: Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library
Author: Chris Grabenstein
Publisher: Yearling Adventure
Published: June 24th 2014
Pages: 336p
ISBN: 9780307931474

Books.  Library.  Puzzle.

I love each one of them. How about combining them into a story? It would be fascinating and Chris Grabenstein successfully did it through this 336 pages. I am thrilled about how Chris put all things together in an ingenious way. Kyle Keeley is 12 years old and crazy about games especially anything that came out from Mr. Lemoncello’s imagination factory. He grew up with them and everyone in the family loves it. So when he heard about Alexandriavilles’ new public library that Mr. Lemoncello’s was helping build, he was so excited to see the place. In addition to the good news, he found out about the library lock-in event for the winner of essay competition “Why I am Excited about the New Public Library”. Mr. Lemoncello will pick twelve 12 years old kids as winners and they will get to go to the library lock-in on friday night and spend the night in the new library before anyboday else gets to see the place. Are you picturing it now? A night surrounded by books in a marvelous library designed by the famous game maker ever? Sound interesting huh?! And for a mysterious reason, Kyle won.
